The Kayak Package
Spend the night at Sweden’s first floating hotel and enjoy a delicious meal in our restaurant, inspired by the sea and the coast.

A day in a kayak awaits when you check in at Salt & Sill on Klädesholmen. Paddle north and you’ll soon reach Flatholmen and Stora Vrångsholmen – a narrow, maze-like, and fun area to explore. Stop at the charming harbor of Flatholmen, where old boathouses and seaside cottages recall the fishing villages of the past.

You can also head toward Hjärterösund and Sandholmen, home to one of the region’s finest sandy beaches. Soon you’ll find yourself in the town of Skärhamn, where you can stop for lunch or ice cream. There’s also a great beach next to the Nordic Watercolour Museum where you can land your kayak.

If you choose to paddle south from Klädesholmen, you’ll quickly reach the narrow strait in Rönnäng and get a glimpse of Åstol, Dyrön, and Carlsten Fortress atop Marstrand Island.

Explore the islands of Älgöfjorden, or cross the Marstrand Fjord to see the charming sailing town and seaside resort of Marstrand.

In the evening, a well-deserved dinner awaits – the perfect end to a day on the water.

Relax in one of our cozy double rooms at the floating hotel, enjoy a good night’s sleep, and wake up to a lovely breakfast.

Kayaks
One kayak per person is included in the package, available between 09:00 and 17:00 on the day of arrival.

Would you prefer to use your kayak on a different day? No problem – just contact us and we’ll arrange it!

Kayaks are picked up at Kajaktiv, only a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

We understand that children’s eating preferences can vary, so we’ve chosen not to include meals for children in the package. Instead, children’s meals are paid for on-site.

Stora Salt: Spacious and ideal for groups of up to 6 people.
Lilla Salt: A slightly smaller apartment, perfect for up to 4 people.

Please note: the apartments are not located on the floating hotel.
